The International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL) invites all professionals interested in the health effects of dietary fats, oils and lipids to attend its 14th Congress in Nantes.
The 2021 Virtual ISSFAL Congress will take place on 5 consecutive days from May 10th to 14th.
The Congress will take place in collaboration with the American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) who are holding their virtual Annual Meeting at the same time and have generously made their platform and infrastructure available.
The 14th ISSFAL International Congress will run as a separate, independent ‘track’ alongside the main AOCS meeting. Each day will comprise two sessions with start times varying in order to give delegates in different international time zones the opportunity to attend ‘live’.
The meeting will include all the usual ISSFAL Congress highlights with Award presentations, plenary speakers, presentations selected from abstracts, and opportunities to interact live with sponsors and exhibitors.
The main ambition is to increase the understanding of the role of dietary fatty acids and lipids in health and disease through research and education. ISSFAL’s 500+ members come from more than forty countries and include scientists, health professionals, administrators and educators with an interest in the health effects of dietary fats.
